What the women of Nigeria have always fought for, is coming to pass, as Senator Binani has defeated the incumbent governor of Adamawa State, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Finitiri, the People’s Democratic Party candidate.
Senator Binani who is the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Congress defeated the incumbent governor in the 21 local government areas of the state.
The senator polled a total of 409,909 votes, and Finitiri polled a total of 406,617 votes. INEC is expected to declare her as the winner soon.
This is a win for all women in Africa, women in Nigeria, have taken the news with excitement, as the picture of senator Binani has been circulating on the net.
