Joseph Mersa Marley, one of the grandsons to the late Jamaican reggae music legend, Bob Marley, has been confirmed dead after he was found unresponsive inside a vehicle in the US on Tuesday, December 27.
Joseph had been a Jamaican-American reggae artist until his death at the age of 31.
According to Daily Mail the artist popularly known by his stage name, Jo Mersa, had reportedly suffered from asthma his entire life, and a radio station, WZPP had claimed that the artist died of an asthma attack.
Joseph Mersa is the grandson of the iconic reggae musician, Bob Marley and the son of Bob Marley’s son, Stephen Marley.
He had spent his early years in Jamaica where he attended Saints Peter and Paul Preparatory School before he moved to Florida to study at Palmetto High School.
