Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky has taken aim at members of the National Assembly for remaining silent in the wake of a deadly attack in Yelwata, Benue State, where nearly 200 people reportedly lost their lives.
The killings, allegedly carried out by suspected herdsmen, have sparked outrage nationwide.
However, Bobrisky expressed anger over what he sees as a lack of urgency from lawmakers, contrasting their inaction with how quickly they handled his own case in 2024—when he was sentenced for spraying naira notes.
In a post shared via Instagram on Monday, he wrote, “Senator/house representative didn’t call urgent meeting over the kiling happening in benue.. but they can call urgent meeting when it comes to bobrisky. Shame!!!! Shame!!!! Shame!!!”
He added, “What a shameful country.”
