Nigerian Grammy award winner, Burna Boy has unapologetically bashed his colleague in the music industry, Davido, in a Snapchat post while showing respect to another Grammy award winner, Wizkid in the same vein.
Earlier today, October 30, famous Afrobeat icon, Wizkid whose real name is Ayodeji Balogun got the internet buzzing after he gave a rather ‘pompous’ view about his successful music career.
In his post on Snapchat, Wizkid remarked that he had the ideal strategy for becoming a legendary creative, hence, his colleagues should take notes and learn from him.
Burna Boy had then given his own 2 cents and opined that he was indeed in awe of the self-acclaimed Star Boy’s status as the poster boy for Afrobeats. He also said that in the music industry, he was Davido’s uncle.
Burna Boy however had not given any reason or clue for bringing Davido into the conversation. However, this would not be the first time Burna Boy would be making a snide remark aimed at Davido.
As of the time of this publication, Davido has not addressed Burna Boy’s opinion on social media.
Meanwhile, netizens have taken to Twitter to react to the recent ‘shade’ among the recording artists.
