Report has it that a 24 years old male teacher at the Sehwi Asawinso Methodist Primary School, in Sehwi Wiawso Municipality of the Western Region, defiled three female pupils.

According to reports, the incident took place in his house, where he was conducting extracurricular classes to cover up the academic syllabus, he then used the opportunity to defile the three pupils, between the ages of eight and nine he further instilled fear in the pupils warning them not to tell anyone.

Fortunately, the parents of the children were very observant, they noticed some discharge of blood from their daughters’ private parts, the girls eventually opened up to their parents.

The parents reported the issue to the police station, the girls were then taken to a hospital, where checks on them revealed that they’d been truly defiled. The suspect has been arrested detained and charged in Court.

Parents need to be vigilant, as abusers are looking for the slightest opportunity to abuse children, and also school authorities have to be professional as a reasonable school permits a teacher to conduct extracurricular lessons for his students at his house.
