Antonio Rudiger, Sadiq Umar’s ex-teammate from Serie A club, Roma has wished Umar Sadiq a quick recovery.
Sadiq sustained an injury, in Real Sociedad’s match against Getafe on Sunday night, He sustained a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament, with this kind of Injury, he can’t feature in the rest part of the season, as he has to stay off the pitch for about eight months.
“Stay strong my brother, Almighty knows why. Come back stronger,” Rudiger posted on Instagram.”
Meanwhile, Real Sociedad has announced Sadiq’s date of surgery as he is to undergo the surgery on Thursday.
After suffering a rupture of his anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, Sadiq Umar will undergo surgery on 15th September in Vitoria, with Dr. Mikel Sánchez taking control of the procedure,” reads a statement on the club’s official website
Sadiq who just recently transferred to Real Sociedad from Almeria already scored his debut goal for Real Sociedad in their match against Real Madrid.
