The people of Ifon Orolu Community in Osun State have begged the state governor, Ademola Adeleke, to appoint a native of the town to become a commissioner in his cabinet.

Their plea had been contained in a letter signed by Jide Akinyooye, the Secretary, Board of Trustees of the flagship group for indigenes of the town, Ifon Orolu Progressive Union, and had been sent to the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Teslim Igbalaye.

The letter had additionally revealed  that the last indigene of the town who served in the state cabinet had left office over a decade ago, and at present, the Orolu Community was filled with an array of qualified professionals, whose expertise can be of immense benefit to the state if given the opportunity to serve.
