After losing at the 67th Grammy Awards, Burna Boy has been the target of criticism from Nigerian socialite and businessman Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, better known as Cubana Chief Priest.
Burna Boy, along with Tems, Asake, and Wizkid, were nominated for Best African Music Performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards held on Sunday.
Tems, on the other hand, won the category by defeating other performers.
In response, Cubana Chief Priest criticised Burna Boy over the loss in an Instagram story post on Monday.
He claimed that Tems would have been denied her win if Sean Diddy were not in prison.
He wrote, “If to say Diddy dey outside, dem for use Johnson baby oil rub away her Grammy.
Burna Boy has been the subject of ongoing mockery due to his connection with American rapper Diddy, who was arrested by the FBI on various charges, including sexual exploitation.
