Dana Air Set to Resume Flight Operations on November 9 After Months of Suspension.

Nigeria’s popular indigenous airline, Dana Air, will once again, begin its flight operations on November 9, following the conclusion of an audit of the company organized by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority -NCAA.

The airline’s license had previously been suspended about four months ago by the FG for the audit by the NCAA to be carried out.

Following the successful audit conclusion by the NCAA, Dana Air had in a statement it released on Friday, November 4 said, “We are pleased to announce that we will be resuming flight operations on November 9th, having successfully concluded an audit organized by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority -NCAA.”

Ememobong Ettete, Dana Air’s Accountable Manager/Chief Operating Officer, had in the statement, explained that the audit was conducted because of a reengineering and restructuring process and have successfully concluded the extensive audit for the second time, with a new management team fully in charge, the airline was now well positioned regardless of the current challenges of the economic environment, for sustainable growth while still offering safe, reliable and exciting flying experience to their loyal customers.

He had also said: “For customers with unused tickets, and as a little token for our short absence from the market, we have extended their validity for a year. A transfer option is also available to customers and we shall be offering competitive fares and gifting free tickets onboard our flights for the next 30 days, beginning from November 9.”
