Don’t Re-Sign Balogun- Sutton Warns Rangers.

Chris Sutton, ex-Tottenham Hotspur player has advised Rangers not to re-sign Balogun, despite the clamor of fans for the club to re-sign Leon Balogun.

Balogun’s contract with Rangers expired in June, while with Rangers he helped them win the Scottish premiership, and he’s now a free agent who is yet to get a new club.

Ally McCoist, ex manager of Rangers, revealed in an interview that re-signing Balogun will be a good decision as he is fit and a phenomenal player.

Sutton however believes that bringing Balogun back to the club is irrelevant. According to him, re-signing Balogun is not necessary, if Van Broncknorst does not want Balogun back to the club, then everyone should respect his decision and not berate him for it.

“a concern over Rangers? Yes, but I think they can still go over there and get a result,” Sutton told BT Sport.

“I think Ally spoke about it after the game about maybe bringing Balogun back. I don’t necessarily think that is the answer.

“If Van Bronckhorst didn’t want Balogun you can’t criticise him for not signing him on again. It’s a Champions League qualifier, these games are never going to be easy.”
