UK-based Ugandan model, Eva Apio, has put an end to swirling rumors linking her romantically to Nigerian Afrobeats star, Asake.
Speculation about a possible relationship between the pair had gained traction after they were frequently spotted together at public events and social gatherings.
However, Apio took to her X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday to dismiss the claims. Her response came after a user shared a viral photo of her and Asake, referring to her as the singer’s girlfriend.
In a direct reply to the post, Apio wrote, “I was never his girlfriend,” putting to rest the rumors that had been circulating for weeks.
