Following the suspension of the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria on Friday, June 9, the APC, Femi Fani-Kayode, has praised President Tinubu and The Department of State Security, DSS for their swift action towards apprehending the now-former governor of the CBN, Godwin Emefiele.
Fani-Kayode had expressed his satisfaction via a tweet he made on Saturday, June 10 on his official Twitter handle.
According to the Chieftain, the DSS had apprehended ‘Nigeria’s greatest sponsor of terrorism’ and ‘an ardent promoter of secession.’
In his words:
“He (Emefiele) was a heartless crook, bloodthirsty and a sadistic war criminal who tried to subvert the democratic process on the orders of his co-conspirators and sponsors.”
“I have no doubt that he will spill the beans and list several names once interrogation commences. He will not go down alone: those he worked for and fronted for will go down with him.”
