Malamawa, Karangiya, and Kwalele Communities of Kiyawa LGA of Jigawa State were razed down with fire, this incident was said to have occurred on Sunday.
What caused the fire is still unknown, but considering that we are in the harmattan season, any little fire can spread around seeing that everywhere is still dry.
The incident was confirmed by Adamu Shehu who is the Jigawa State Spokesperson for the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps.
According to Adamu, no death was recorded but persons who inhaled the smoke were immediately rushed to the Kiyawa hospital where they are being attended to.
