According to three diplomatic sources, France is scheduled to organize an international humanitarian summit for the civilian population in Gaza on November 9.
The summit, expected to involve heads of state, government officials, and foreign ministers, will focus on various crucial issues, including the mobilization of funds, provision of emergency aid, restoration of water, fuel, and electricity supplies, and the facilitation of aid for the injured in Gaza, potentially via maritime routes, as disclosed by two diplomats.
While the Palestinian Authority is expected to attend, Israel has not been included in the invitation list, as stated by the diplomats.
At the time of reporting, the French foreign ministry had not provided any immediate response to requests for comments.
