American singer Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, widely known as Beyoncé, has officially entered the billionaire ranks, with Forbes reporting that her net worth has surpassed $1 billion, making her the fifth musician in history to reach the milestone.
Forbes notes that Beyoncé now stands alongside fellow music moguls Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen, and her husband, Jay-Z, whose net worth Forbes estimates at $2.5 billion.

The achievement comes after years of commercial success spanning music, touring, film, and brand partnerships. Earlier this month, Forbes had valued Beyoncé’s net worth at $800 million and predicted she would soon achieve billionaire status — a projection now confirmed.
The milestone is driven by multiple high-earning ventures, including her 2023 Renaissance World Tour, which grossed nearly $600 million globally. Beyoncé also produced a concert film from the tour through a direct deal with AMC Theatres, earning nearly half of the film’s $44 million box office revenue. This was her first solo tour in seven years.
Her 2024 album, Cowboy Carter, which explored the Black roots of country music, received critical acclaim and won Beyoncé her first Grammy Award for Album of the Year, despite four previous nominations. Forbes estimates that the album’s supporting tour generated more than $400 million in ticket sales, with an additional $50 million from merchandise. The tour featured appearances by Jay-Z, two of their children, and former Destiny’s Child members.
While some shows reportedly experienced slow ticket sales that led to price reductions, Beyoncé still recorded the highest top-priced concert ticket in the UK in 2025 at £950, with the lowest priced at £71.
Other earnings contributing to her billionaire status include a high-profile halftime performance during Netflix’s first Christmas Day NFL game, estimated at $50 million, and $10 million from Levi’s commercial campaigns.
Meanwhile, Bloomberg has listed Selena Gomez as a billionaire musician with a $1.3 billion net worth, though Forbes disputes this, valuing her at $700 million.
Beyoncé’s ascent to billionaire status underscores her sustained influence in music, business, and popular culture, solidifying her place among the world’s most financially successful artists.
