Reports have it that, some gunmen invaded the Oguta Police station, in Oguta LGA Imo state.
The Gunmen who carried out their attack in the night were fought off by Policemen on duty, the gunfight lasted for some hours, which led to the death of a policeman and the Hoodlums ran off with some injuries.
According to a source, the gunmen came with explosives, and three explosives at the police station, but the police repelled the attack the hoodlums ran away with injuries, however just a little damage was done to the police station.
” Gunmen attacked Oguta 1 police division and killed one visiting mobile police officer.
“They threw explosives on the police station but they were engaged. They ran away with gunshot injuries with minimal damage on the police facility.”
The rates at which our security men are being attacked are alarming, even the Security agencies in the state need protection too, Government should make sure that they have all the necessary ammunition
