Skit maker Maraji claimed that she and her family escaped a car accident.
In a YouTube video, she described how the accident happened when they were coming from a church service. Maraji explained that their vehicle “spun several times before landing in a ditch.”
The creator of the sketch, who had not posted on social media since June 2024, gave an explanation, citing the accident as the cause of her hiatus from the spotlight. “If you’ve ever been in a vehicle accident, you understand what it’s like to feel on the verge of death.

“I was stunned by the accident. We were simply travelling when a car hit us from the side as we turned around.
“ It was like a Nigerian film, and it was insane. The car was simply going around, and we ended up in the ditch. I checked my children and they were fine. “Everybody was fine; no one was injured,” she claimed.
