Adejobi had however, added that those on essential services were excluded from the vehicular limit on the election day.

In Adejobi’s words:
“The IGP has given ordered for the restriction of all forms of vehicular movement on roads, waterways, and other forms of transportation as from 12:01am to 6pm on election day in the stipulated states.”

“The exception to this directive are people working as essential servicemen such as INEC officials, accredited electoral observers, ambulances responding to medical emergencies, firefighters and the media.”
