There were reports that Fulham was interested in ex-Corinthians player, Wilian and are ready to sign the player since they stand a better chance as Wilian already started training with them.
If we can recall, Wilian left Corinthians last month, due to life-threatening threats targeted at him and his family by toxic Brazilian fans.
Fulham signed Wilian in a free transfer for a one-year deal. Willian isn’t new to the premier league games as he once played for Chelsea and Arsenal.
Speaking on his transfer, he said, that he is very delighted to be back at the premier league, he sees Fulham as a club that has the desire to grow and contend for bigger things, so he’s there to offer his help
“I’m happy to be here, I’m happy to be back in the Premier League,” he said.
“Fulham is a special club, a club that wants to improve, that wants to fight for something bigger, so I’m here to help, and I can’t wait to get started.”
We wish Wilian a beautiful and injury-free season in Fulham.
