Could it be that the breast implant trends are over because some women are taking them out?
Some people believe that teenage years are among the best years of a person’s life. I suppose everyone had fewer things to worry about, and that was the point when the majority of teenagers decided to be “Dora the Explorer” and feed into their intrinsic thoughts. Teenagers are curious, but I was not a particularly curious teen at the time. After a hard week at school, I’d rather spend the weekend watching YouTube videos.
Around 2017–2018, there appeared to be a surge in breast implants among YouTubers in the United States. Back then, a number of my favorite YouTubers would have breast implants and then sit down and record a lengthy video about it, explaining why they thought it was best for them. I’m telling you, that was an era!
Then, a few months later, they’d make another video talking about getting the breast implants removed. I mean, didn’t they just say it was the best choice for them? Why were they taking out their breast implants? Today, I’ll share an article about the possible reasons why they’d do so and side effects of breast implants.

What are Breast Implants?
We’ll start strong by defining breast implants. Breast implants are objects with a silicone outer shell that contains either saline (sterile seawater) or silicone gel. These objects are implanted beneath the breast tissue or muscles in the chest.
People can get breast implants for a variety of reasons, including making their breasts look bigger and better, improving the contour of their breasts, or making their breasts appear even.
What are The Possible Side Effects of Breast Implants?
After surgery, the body has gotten a foreign object that was never there before, so it is very natural to experience some adverse effects. The breasts would sustain swelling in certain areas and possible bruises from the surgery.
Following that, you would experience discomfort and chest tightness. This effect occurs as the skin around those areas stretches to accommodate the new addition to the body. Finally, the nipple sensation could show up in three ways. The nipples can be extremely sensitive, mildly sensitive, or completely numb.
Are There Any Complications of Breast Implants
There are more side effects associated with breast implants than the temporary ones. It is by no means an easy task. In reality, these implants have the potential to create problems that could arise over time and need constant treatment. Let’s look at a few of them.
Capsular contracture: Scar tissues are like any other bodily tissues, which can be soft or slightly firm, start to form around the breast implants when they are positioned beneath the breast tissue. The purpose of the scar tissue in breast implant placement is to keep the implants in place. However, occasionally this scar tissue tightens up, pressing against the implants. This can cause the breast to feel hard and painful.
Implant rupture or leakage: You’ve probably heard that breast implants can rupture. Yes, it can rupture and leak. This can occur when the outer shell of the implant breaks or develops a hole due to an injury.
Other reasons why breast implants can burst include a weaker implant shell, flaws from the implant manufacturer (though this rarely occurs), accidental damage during surgery, or a series of capsular contractures creating a rip in the outer shell.
Implant position shifts: The breast implants can move position over time, resulting in an asymmetrical appearance. Gravity, tissue changes, and insufficient surgical skill may all contribute to this change in position. There is also a possibility that the breast sensation will change permanently.
Breast Implant Illness (BII): BII is just a fancy term for the various types of symptoms that people who have breast implants face. These symptoms include tiredness, mental fog, joint discomfort, and other systemic problems.
Reasons for Breast Implants Removal
Now that I’m much older, I’ve learned through research and studies that people want to have their implants removed for a variety of reasons. They may be dissatisfied with the contour of their breast following implantation. We have to give them some leeway, though, because the physical appearance of the breast is likely why they wanted an implant in the first place. Now, if the breast has an unusual shape that detracts from the aesthetics of the cosmetic surgery, removing the breast implants may be a viable choice.
Some women may experience issues with their implants, such as capsular contracture or other serious implant illnesses, which necessitate immediate medical care and, depending on the severity of the situation, the implants must be removed. In some cases, breast implants could be an era for some women. They were presumably quite young and curious, but as they grew older, they would want nothing more than to appear natural. Perhaps they became a mother and began to experience difficulty producing milk for their newborn. Those implants have to go because the baby has to feed.
Conclusion
Why do some women get breast implants only to get them removed after a few months? To begin with, this method is far from simple. In reality, these implants have the potential to trigger difficulties that will require continual monitoring in the future. Complications may include burst implants, capsular contracture, and so on.
Nonetheless, there are a variety of reasons why some people may want to give up on their breast implants. Nobody loves to have lopsided breasts. Another is not being able to breastfeed; finally, it can be the consequence of other medical or surgical issues.
