Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Chelsea’s newly signed player has revealed that he was hurt at the beginning of his football career when people said that he wasn’t good at football.
The former Borrusia Dortmund and Arsenal player joined Chelsea from Barcelona this summer.
Aubameyang joined Barca as a free agent from Arsenal in January, after having a slight altercation with Arsenal’s boss, Mikel Arteta which led to him losing the club captaincy armband due to strict disciplinary measures imposed on him.
Speaking on this, Auba said he has experienced a lot of ugly moments. He was fine when everyone branded him a sprinter at the beginning of his football career, but it hurts to know that people think that he’s actually not good at football, despite putting up his best at every game
Aubameyang said: “I’ve been through a lot of bad moments, not injuries.
“I was okay but at the beginning of my career, everyone was talking about me as a sprinter only.
“This hurts sometimes because you know where you’ve come from, you know you went through a lot of stuff and you always try your best and some people, even from your club say you’re not good at playing football.
