Alex Iwobi, super eagles star bagged two assists in Everton’s match against Crystal palace on Saturday’s premier league game, as they defeated Palace 3-0.
Iwobi provided an assist, for Dominic Calvert Lewin who scored the first goal for Everton putting Everton in the lead in the 11th minute. Anthony Gordon doubled Everton’s lead in the 63rd minute, although the goal was initially ruled off for offside, after the referee consulted VAR he changed his decision.
With just six minutes left to the end of the match, Dwight Meniel, scored another goal making it 3-0 for Everton, this is the first time Everton defeated Crystal palace since their last three games.
Everton has moved to 11th place in the EPL with 13 points. Iwobi has registered five assists in the premier league for Everton this season.
