Tanzanian singer Juma Jux and Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, have gotten married.
The couple held their Islamic traditional wedding ceremony in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
The ceremony, held on Friday, was attended by friends and family who gathered to celebrate with the couple.
Joy and celebration filled the air as the couple exchanged their vows.
Priscilla dazzled in a traditional stone-plated sari, while Jux paired an Islamic-styled kimono with his white jalabiya.
Priscilla’s mother, Ojo, and her brother, Festus, joined the celebration, enjoying the moment with the newlyweds. Content creator and Priscilla’s friend, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, was also present at the event.
Priscilla and Jux’s love story began in July 2024 when they publicly announced their relationship on social media.
The couple shared intimate photographs, exciting fans and followers about their union.
Born on 13 March 2001, Priscilla graduated from Babcock University with a degree in Media and Theatre Arts.
She made her acting debut at 14 in the film Beyond Disability, earning a nomination for ‘Best Child Actress’ at the Best of Nollywood Awards.
Jux, born Juma Mussa Mkambala on 1 September 1989, began his music career at 16 and signed with A.M Records in 2008.
His sound blends R&B, Bongo Flava, and Afrobeats, with hit songs like Enjoy, Nitasubiri, Fashion Killer, Sugua, Juu, and Nidhibiti.
Jux has received numerous awards for his craft and is regarded as one of the biggest artistes in Tanzania and East Africa.
