Korean drama (K-drama) and Chinese drama (C-drama) are sometimes mistaken as the same by Nigerians who can hardly differentiate between Koreans and Chinese, but they are distinct differences between them.
K-drama are often known for their romance stories and are gaining the attention of lots of Nigerians youth, especially the female who are big fan for the handsome male characters like Lee Min ho, Kim Soo Hyun, Cha Eun-woo and the rest of them. But it seemed C-drama is slowly wining the attention of some K-drama fans.
The drama mostly consists of sixteen (16) to twenty (20) episodes depending on the plot unlike c-drama that consist of numerous episodes episode counting from thirty upward.
Whereby K-drama are mostly romance, family drama, teenage issues with a healthy dose of humor, C drama offers more of fantasy and historical drama.
Sometimes drama lovers might debate on which is the best, but I say both are interesting depending on the viewer’s choice and interest.
Here are some recommended K-drama
- Business Proposal
- What’s wrong with Secretary Kim?
- Queen of Tears
- Mouse
- Penthouse
Here are some recommended C-drama
- Hidden love
- Arsenal Military Academy (ASA)
- The untamed
- The Rebel Princess
You see those Chinese dramas ????
I’m not a fan oh.
K-Dramas for me, anytime, anyday oh.
But I’ll pick Philippine series over the two sha.
There’s this C-drama series that I’ve yet to complete but I read the manwha (not sure that’s what it’s called) and I’ve been obsessed ever since. It’s called Lighter and Princess.
