Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has proposed a budget of N790 billion for the year 2025. This budget focuses on important areas like infrastructure, human capital development, security, and agriculture.
The budget plans to spend N553 billion on Capital Expenditure and N237 billion on Recurrent Expenditure. Education will get N206.6 billion, which is 26.14% of the total budget. This money will be used to build new schools, fix existing ones, hire and train teachers, and provide learning materials.
The Health sector will receive N127 billion, which is 16.07% of the total budget. This will help improve healthcare facilities, buy medical equipment, and expand mobile healthcare services.
N106 billion, which is 13.14% of the total budget, has been set aside for infrastructure development. This includes finishing ongoing road projects, providing electricity to rural areas, improving water supply, and other important public works.
