Nollywood actress Ariyo Oluwakemisola, popularly known as Kemity, has shed light on her personal life, revealing she has two children by two different men and sharing the painful circumstances behind it.

During a recent appearance on Biola Bayo’s podcast, the actress opened up about her journey into motherhood, explaining that her first child was born from her relationship with her first love — a man she described as the one who deflowered her.

“I have two children for two men. The first man disvirgined me and I got pregnant,” Kemity revealed.

She went on to disclose that after the birth of their child, her partner travelled to Malaysia but was tragically murdered upon his return to Nigeria.

“He later travelled to Malaysia, and he came back and was killed in a hotel. That was how I became a widow,” she said.

Kemity expressed frustration at the judgment she has received from people who criticise women for having children by different fathers without knowing their full story.

“People are saying I have two kids with different men, saying all sorts without knowing the story behind it. Even my mum gave all her children the same father,” she said, stressing that it was never her intention to raise children from different relationships.

The Yoruba movie star also used the opportunity to address the stigma single mothers often face, saying many women never planned to end up in such situations.

“I am using this opportunity to pray for single mothers who work hard to raise their kids, that God will help them,” she prayed.

Kemity concluded with a strong message to those who mock or belittle women in similar circumstances.

“And to those of you who abuse people because they have kids with different fathers, that was not our plan. If that was our plan, let’s pray you go through the same thing we went through.”

Her emotional account has sparked reactions across social media, with many fans applauding her courage and openness in sharing such a personal story.
