Nantes head coach, Antonie Kombouare stated that he expected more from super eagles player, Moses Simon in Sunday’s Ligue 1 clash against the lens, which ended in a 0-0 draw.

Both teams failed to score, even though Nantes had 12 shots while lens had 8.

In the post-match conference, Kombouare said that he wanted to make changes in the match, but considering the boys’ team spirit, he didn’t want to disrupt anything.

He further said that he expected more from Simon, but Simon couldn’t deliver, as he was overshadowed in the match.

“Sometimes we make changes for new blood, but since the boys were working together, mentally strong, I didn’t want to disturb them,” Kombouare told the club’s official website.

“Given Simon’s performance over time, I was hoping for a shine, but they took him down the whole match.

“Pallois, pelvis problem. We hope it’s not muscular.”

Simon has three goals and one assist to his name in six french League appearances this season.
