The Lagos State Government has banned articulated trucks from plying Ojuelegba and Dorman bridges.
This directive is in response to the constant container accidents that have resulted in the loss of numerous lives and as well as the destruction of vehicles on the two bridges. The announcement had been issued in a letter addressed to the State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), by Hon. Sola Giwa, the Special Adviser on Transportation.
According to the directive, any road user(s) caught flouting the rules would face the appropriate sanctions.
