Man Stabs Neighbour To Death Over Parking Space in Lagos

The report has it that two neighbors in First Unity Estate, Badore area of Ajah Lagos State had a serious altercation over parking space in their street, seeing how serious the argument was getting, neighbors tried to settle the issue, but the argument generated to a fight which eventually led to the suspect, Tolulope Olowu stabbed his neighbor Pablo to death.

The incident happened on Saturday, but the matter was eventually reported to the police, on Sunday. Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Spokesperson confirmed the incident in a statement.

According to him, the suspect stabbed the victim in the stomach and considering how grave the injury was, the victim died on the spot without making it to the hospital, they sent out a team of detectives to visit the scene and photograph the scene and have begun an investigation

He also revealed that the corpse has been taken to the morgue at the Infectious Diseases Hospital at Yaba, for an autopsy.

The statement read: “They had a misunderstanding over parking a vehicle on the street.

“In the process, Olowu allegedly stabbed Pablo with a knife in the stomach and he died on the spot.

“Based on the report, a team of detectives from the Langbasa Police Division visited and photographed the scene.

“The corpse has been evacuated and deposited at the morgue of the Infectious Diseases Hospital, Yaba for autopsy.

The suspect has been arrested, alongside the knife he used in stabbing the victim which would be used as an exhibit in court and would be charged to court after investigations have been concluded.

It’s a prerequisite that we should learn how to control our emotions so that they don’t put us in trouble.
