Popular talent manager Muyiwa Awoniyi has officially announced the end of his professional relationship with Nigerian singer Omah Lay.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Awoniyi revealed the development and extended his goodwill to the “Soso” crooner.
“With love and respect, I am no longer managing @Omah_Lay. That’s my brother and I wish him all the best in his endeavors for life!” he wrote.
In response to the announcement, Omah Lay shared his admiration for Awoniyi, praising his intellect and their bond:
“@IAmDonawon. The most intelligent nigga I’ve met so far in the game, love you forever my blood,” the singer posted on X.
Awoniyi, known for his strategic influence and mentorship in the Nigerian music industry, has worked with several notable artists. In addition to his time with Omah Lay, he currently manages Grammy-winning singer Tems and has previously worked with Nigerian-Canadian artist Nonso Amadi.
