The former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to one of Nigeria’s e-commerce giants, Konga has died by suicide in his Lagos apartment.
Imudia who was the CEO of D.light –a leading innovator in residential solar energy solutions– at the time of his death was said to have jumped from the balcony of his Lekki, Lagos apartment on Tuesday night, June 25.
Reports making the rounds have alleged that he chad alled his US-based brother to give instructions on how to distribute his wealth should anything happen to him before he committed suicide.
He had also allegedly reached out to his young daughter from a previous relationship, telling her that he would always be there for her, and she only needed to look in the sky to see him.
Imudia’s death has left his friends, family, associates and the whole nation in shock as to why he would choose to take his own life.
The late CEO hailed from Ika South local government area in Delta State and was previously married to the mother of his young daughter, who was coincidentally, an indigene of the same local government area too.
The union had tragically crashed due to irreconcilable differences.
