Segun Omotosho Ebenezer, aged 45, has been apprehended by the Nigeria Police Force for reportedly beating his wife, Bukola, aged 42 to death in Ogun State.
The suspect has already been arrested on Sunday, November 20, 2022, according to the Ogun State Police Command in a statement issued on Monday, November 21 and signed by its spokesman, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi.
Ebenezer’s arrest, had come after a complaint lodged at Kemta Divisional Headquarters on November 14, 2022, by the elder sister of the deceased. She had reported that her late sister was beaten and seriously injured by her husband over a slight marital disagreement.
The deceased was then subsequently rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba Abeokuta, by her husband for medical attention, but she had died while receiving treatment.
