The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, has confirmed and concluded plans to evacuate more than 2,000 Nigerians in the crisis-hit Sudan this morning, April 25.
This news is coming after the management of Air Peace had expressed its willingness to evacuate Nigerians stranded in Sudan for no additional costs, and after the Chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, had yesterday, April 24, encouraged Nigerian students trapped in the war-torn country to remain in their universities to avoid danger.
