Popular Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo has welcomed her second child.

The thespian took to her Instagram page on Wednesday to celebrate her new bundle of joy while thanking everyone for the love showered on her and the new born who was delivered on Tuesday, June 8.

She wrote:

“My bunny is finally here and I am so excited; mother and child perfectly fine. I just want to say thank you to everyone. I see all the love and WhatsApp messages and they are overwhelming.”

“I cry sometimes, little me do I deserve all these support?”

“God bless you all, I cannot reply all the messages but I see them. Thank you.”

Ogbodo, however, did not state the sex of the child which according to her weighed 3 kg.

But in a recent gender reveal session on Instagram, the Enugu-born actress after a scan, disclosed that the baby is a girl.

On May 27, she wrote:

“BUNNY IS A GIRL! With gratitude to Almighty God, we are happy to announce that we are welcoming a beautiful baby girl soonest. SO IF YOU GUESSED A GIRL, START DUSTING YOUR DANCING SHOES.”

The actress had featured in more than 200 Nollywood movies which includes ‘Be My Val’, ‘Family Romance’, ‘Festac Town’, ‘Forces of Nature’, ‘Four Sisters’ and many others.

The star actress  is one of the most versatile actress in Nigeria who fits into any role and acts mostly in romantic, action, comedy and tragic movies.

The light skinned actress had tied the knot with Ato Ubby , ex-Nigerian footballer, in 2013 but the union collapsed barely 10 months after she realised that their relationship was built on lies and deceit.

The marriage, however, produced a girl, Mildred, whom the pair welcomed in 2014 before parting ways.

Ugbodo had earlier revealed that the father of her second child is her new lover, Bobby Maris.

Bobby Maris is an upcoming music act in his late 20s, which makes him four years younger than the actress.

Uche Ogbodo and Bobby Marris

The lovebirds only dated for a few months before Marris put her in the family way. The actress is so happy that she has been singing his praises to high heavens and comparing him with the other men she has dated in the past.

Uche confessed that she dated older men in the past, but they all left her heartbroken and demoralised. This is the reason why she has decided to go the extra mile to ensure her relationship with Marris does not end the way the previous ones did.

“Them no marry me, but them support me and them dey proud of me.

See I choose this man a million times over. He is my armour.

Incase you guys don’t know, in my first pregnancy , I was abandoned, uncared for. I was alone and confused. I almost ran mad.

So if you all can’t rejoice with me when l am happy, then to hell with all of you.” She explained.
