Multiple award winning Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, fondly called ‘Omosexy’, has taken her time to explain the reasons behind her ‘frequent’ absence from acting. The 46-year-old star responded to fans who thought she had left the screen for good.
In a recent Instagram post, Omotola said that, after launching her acting career at the age of 15, she now takes periods of time to rest. She shared, “I know many don’t understand why I take time off movies for a few years and then come back again. But when you’ve been working for as long as I have, you’ll understand the need to relax, relive, relearn, and recharge.”
The actress also revealed that having visited Nigeria in December, she shot two movies in February and left in March.
