Patricia George, 26 years old Super Falcons player announces retirement from Football.

She made this announcement, on January 29th on all her social media platforms to inform the world about her decision.

According to her, she has decided to take a break from football for at least a year and then see if she’ll decide to return to football. She further said that it was not an easy decision but it was very necessary, although she hasn’t fully decided if she’ll return to football next year, she just has to follow what her heart says as she seeks to find herself outside football.

“With that being said I would like to let everyone know that I’ve decided to hang my soccer cleats up for at least this year and take a full break from playing soccer!

“It’s not a decision I made lightly but a decision that I know is right for me and my spirit.

“I Haven’t fully decided if I will try to make a comeback next year. But Right now I’m following my heart.

“And my heart is telling me to step away. Soccer has always been my identity so now I’m soul-searching and finding myself outside of the game.

“Thank you everyone for all the support, I’ve always appreciated all the love and positivity you guys send my way.😌

Patricia George just only joined Fenerbahce’s Turkish side, she also apologize to the club for her decision.

Fans are still baffled as to why Patricia will decide to retire so early, which means that she’ll not feature for the super Falcons in the 2023 Women’s Fifa World Cup.
