A 36-year-old man was detained by the Lagos State Police Command for reportedly trying to flee with his boss’ car after he dropped her off at the market.
This was verified on Saturday in Lagos by SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Command, for the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
According to Hundeyin, at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the complainant—whose name is being kept secretreported that the car,a Lexus ES 350 with the registration number EXY 950 FZ—as well as her laptop had been stolen.
After dropping her off at Tejuosho Market in Yaba, the boss’s car was allegedly driven away by the unidentified driver, according to Hundeyin.
After receiving this allegation, police detectives followed the suspect to Shubiri Road in Ojo, where they apprehended him and found the automobile.
