The Lagos State Police Command has cautioned the supporters of the Labour Party presidential flagbearer, Peter Obi, to avoid the infamous Lekki Toll Gate on Saturday.

The Labour Party supporters had planned to hold the ObiDatti23 Forward Ever Rally in Lagos on Saturday, October 1st.

The Federal High Court, Lagos, on Wednesday had ordered the Labour Party and its supporters to not converge on the Lekki Toll-Gate for their planned rally. The court, in its directives, had allowed them to pass by the location for their rally but they are not allowed to gather there.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Command revealed that the State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, has ordered the prosecution of anybody who violates the court’s order.
