The just concluded Governorship and State House of Assembly, elections in Lagos State were not free and fair as there were several incidents of ballot box snatching, vandalism,m and attack on the INEC officials and voters.
Benjamin Hundeyi, the Lagos State Police Spokesperson confirmed on Tuesday that six persons were arrested for violence on Saturday’s election, these suspects, engaged in vandalism, snatching of ballot boxes, and Possession of fake INEC ID cards.
Four of the suspects will be taken to Abuja and handed over to the Independent National Electoral Commission, while the other two will be prosecuted by the police.
