Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has called out fellow artist Olamide amid rumours that Asake has allegedly parted ways with YBNL.
In a viral video on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, Portable reflected on the moment Olamide contributed a verse to the hit song “Zazzu.”
He expressed frustration over Olamide signing Asake instead of him, only for Asake to later abandon him.
While speaking, he said, “Olamide, you used Asake to tackle me in the industry. You wanted to cancel me, so I ran to Sango. From Sango, I toured the world. Now look at the person you lifted above me—he has dumped you without even saying thank you. You took away my producer, my promoter, Kogbagidi, and my dancer.”
“Now see life—Asake doesn’t appreciate you anymore, yet I still do. I thank you for the verse you gave me on “Zazzu”. I started the trend of wearing big shoes and oversized clothes, but you told Asake to copy it.”
“You are a copycat. Davido, I was the influencer for crypto and bitcoin, but you hijacked it from me and still claim to be a rich man.”
