Singer Portable has sparked reactions online after calling on actor and media personality Lege Miami to provide N50 million if he wants his involvement in President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.
The demand followed a video that surfaced on social media over the weekend, showing Lege Miami declaring his support for the president while insisting he wasn’t paid for it.
In a new video making the rounds, Portable was allegedly heard speaking to Lege Miami over the phone, stating the conditions under which he would throw his weight behind the campaign.
“Let them drop substantial amount. I’ve been promoting Tinubu for so long even without pay, how much do they want to drop now? Those that want to drop money should drop N50 million. Lege Miami, you get level. Without sending money, I’ve been Tinubu’s son for long. I want to promote Tinubu for the second tenure,” he said.
His comments have drawn mixed reactions from social media users, with many questioning why he now wants to be paid despite his earlier public support for the president.
