Ibrahim Owodunni, also known as Primeboy, has surrendered to the police. It’s almost like he heard the entire nation’s chorus of “Police na your mate?” and decided it was time to face the music. But what’s he hiding up those sleeves?

This startling development was revealed by the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a post that hit the virtual streets on Thursday.

Primeboy didn’t stroll into the police station for a casual chat, though. He was swiftly taken into custody for what we can only imagine is some intense questioning and other undisclosed actions.

The Lagos State Police Command seems dead set on leaving no stone unturned in their quest for answers. They’ve reaffirmed their dedication to Mohbad’s family, friends, fans, and the curious public. They promise a thorough investigation that would put Sherlock Holmes to shame.

In fact, the Command’s determination is crystal clear. They’ve boldly declared that anyone responsible for the demise of Mr. Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad, will face the long arm of the law.

Primeboy’s sudden surrender came after he was declared a wanted man, with a tempting N1 million bounty on his head. It’s almost like a high-stakes game of hide and seek.

As a quick recap, Mohbad, the 27-year-old artist whose real name was Ilerioluwa Aloba, left this world in a cloud of controversy on September 12. This shocking event led to public outcry and nationwide protests, with the police summoning various individuals for questioning, including Naira Marley and music promoter Sam Larry.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson of the Lagos Police, noted that Primeboy had been ignoring their polite invitations for a little chat since the investigation began.

To add a twist worthy of a suspense novel, Primeboy was not just a passive observer in this drama. He was one of the prominent faces in the viral video announcing Mohbad’s demise. He was the guy wailing and screaming about Mohbad’s death, and he was also the one who posted the video of Mohbad’s lifeless body, sending shockwaves across the internet.

So, what’s Primeboy’s game plan? Is there something hidden up those sleeves of his? The mystery deepens as the investigation unfolds.
