Nigerian socialite and cross-dresser Bobrisky, has become the latest personality to demand that rapper Speed Darlington be set free. The arrest of the rapper is rooted in controversies stirring from his claims of alleged dealings in relationship with the musical mogul, Diddy, to seal winning a Grammy Award against the same Grammy-winning superstar artiste known as Burna Boy.
Despite a court order for his release, Speed Darlington has been kept in detention, a situation that has kept many of his fans and onlookers in an uproar. Bobrisky has now reached out to Burna Boy, pleading that he forgive and intervene in the matter, since 45 days in prison should be enough punishment.
The crossdresser’s plea was a reflection of increasing frustration with the detention and highlighted harsh realities of incarceration. Bobrisky noted that prison is not a good place and insinuated that Speed Darlington may not have the financial resources to ensure better treatment in the facility.
The situation has elicited massive argument, with both fans and celebrities airing their views on whether Burna Boy should extend the olive branch or let the law take its course.
