The Police Service Commission -PSC, has extended its portal for police officers’ recruitment for the 2022 batch of constables in the Nigeria Police Force -NPF, by a month. PSC’s Head of Press and Public Relations, Mr. Ikechukwu Ani, reported this in a statement issued on Sunday, 25th September 2022 in Abuja.

Mr. Ani further revealed that the recruitment portal, previously scheduled to close on Sept. 26, would stay open to applicants until October 26, to give enough time and accommodate all the interested applicants. Ani has urged the eligible applicants, who are unable to apply, to take advantage of the extension.

He vowed that the commission was committed to ensuring that all the applicants, who were interested in pursuing a career in the police, were granted the opportunity. Finally, Ani stated that the commission would also not stray from its established policy of ensuring a transparent and merit-driven police recruitment exercise.
