Paris Saint-Germain delivered an attacking masterclass as they saw off Bayern Munich 5-4 in a Champions League semi-final first leg record-breaker.
After an early blow from Harry Kane’s penalty gave Bayern the lead, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia brought the hosts back on terms with a spectacular finish. He then turned provider for Joao Neves to head PSG ahead.

Michael Olise’s effort pulled Bayern back into it, but a penalty from Ousmane Dembele before the break re-established the lead, and a second from Kvaratskhelia, followed by a Dembele strike, had PSG racing 5-2 ahead.
But Bayern were far from done, and a late comeback from Dayot Upamecano and an assist from Kane for Luis Diaz pulled the visitors to within a single goal of PSG heading into the second leg in Munich.
The clash became the highest-scoring Champions League semi-final tie of all time, despite Bayern having the highest expected goals figure across the match.
