Ann, a friend of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has regained her freedom after spending two nights in detention.
The development occurred on Wednesday evening after the court handling the matter adjourned proceedings to March 5, 2026.
Regina Daniels’ elder brother, Sammy, disclosed the situation through his Instagram story. Before Ann’s release, he alleged that she was taken to court without the knowledge or presence of her legal team or family.

“Similar techniques. Not letting legal representative or family aware of the whereabouts. Not allowing anyone know the court, final stage prison. Case adjourned until March 5th,” he wrote.
A few hours later, Sammy shared an update confirming her release, stating, “My T.E.D. Ann is out.”
It was gathered that Ann was arrested in Lagos on Monday and subsequently flown to Abuja in a private jet over theft allegations reportedly made by Regina Daniels’ estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The claims surfaced about two months after Regina Daniels reportedly ended her marriage with the senator following claims of domestic violence.
