Oxford University Press declares “rizz” as the Word of the Year, showcasing its prominence among Generation Z to depict one’s capability to attract or seduce another person.
The term surpassed competitors like “Swiftie” (an avid fan of Taylor Swift), “situationship” (an informal romantic or sexual relationship), and “prompt” (an instruction for an artificial intelligence program) in the annual decision made by experts at the Oxford English Dictionary.
The public voted for the finalists, and the announcement of the winner took place on Monday.
