Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo, otherwise known by his stage name, RMD, together with his wife, Jumobi, are celebrating their 23rd wedding anniversary.
The actor had taken to his verified Instagram account to share a photo of him and his wife on Friday.
The post read: “Abiks, how are we even 23 years in this journey of life together?”
RMD is a well known actor in the Nigerian movie scene and he had gained prominence for his role in the late 80’s television soap opera titled ‘Ripples’. Since then, he has featured in hundreds of Nollywood movies.
The couple tied the knot on December 29, 2000.
This was after the death of May Ellen-Ezekiel, the actor’s first wife, in 1996.
Jumobi for her part, has been absent from the media space since she tied the knot with RMD. Note that she had been a popular TV presenter.
The union of the pair is blessed with four children: two males, and two females.
