Veteran rapper Ruggedman has criticized those attacking Davido for his remarks about Nigeria’s economy.
Davido recently warned Americans against relocating to Nigeria, describing the country’s economy as a “shamble.” The statement sparked backlash, but Ruggedman defended the singer, saying he simply spoke the truth.
He urged the government to fix the economy rather than allow people to continue diverting their attention with talk about Davido’s comments.
Ruggedman stated, “The hardship is too much. Criticizing Davido won’t solve the problem. Fix Nigeria so nobody will have to say such again.”
