Segun studied Theatre Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University and had tried his hands on music, even releasing two albums. However, he later realized that his first love, acting, required more attention; thus, he faced the industry squarely. And that decision made him one of the most respected actors in Nollywood.
Segun has clarified that the love of music was never killed and might return someday. His comeback, however, would not be for earning extra bucks but just for the love and passion for singing and creating music.
